Cruisin’ Down the Byway: A Scenic Tour of Northern Nebraska PDF Print E-mail

Take the high road across northern Nebraska. Just at the northern border, this three-day
route will take you through varying landscapes, natural wonders, historical sites, and
much more.

Day 1
Starting at the northwest corner of Nebraska, you’ll follow two of Nebraska’s scenic byways through pine-studded buttes. Along the way, stop in charming towns and witness stunning natural scenery.

Day 2
Start at the state’s largest waterfall and head toward the Missouri River Valley. Not only is this country beautiful, it’s steeped in historical significance to the native people who still call it home.

Day 3
Follow the route through several quiet villages on your way to Omaha, Nebraska’s cosmopolitan jewel. Here, you’ll enjoy world-class shopping, a famous zoo, historical sites, and plenty of opportunities for cultural enrichment.
