Day 1
Starting in historic Alliance, you’ll wind your way through the countryside, coming upon some of Nebraska’s most famous natural monuments such as Chimney Rock. This path in the footsteps of the pioneers brings you to the population center of Scottsbluff/Gering.

Day 2

This drive offers even more scenic country plus exciting stops at historically significant sites. Enjoy the ride as you journey back up to charming Chadron.

DAY 1
Start in Chadron
55 miles (1:15) south on US-385 to Alliance
40 miles (1:00) south on US-385, west on NE-L62A, south on US-26 to Bayard
25 miles (:35) west on US-26 to Scottsbluff or NE-92 to Gering
Spend the night in Scottsbluff/Gering

DAY 2
43 miles (:45) west on US-26, north on NE-29 to Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, then 22 miles north to Harrison
27 miles (:35) east on US-20 to Crawford
24 miles (:30) east of Crawford on US-20 to Chadron
Spend the night in Chadron
