After a good night’s sleep, head to Harold & Leona’s Toyland and Museum in nearby North Bend where you will receive a VIP tour of the toys of yesteryear. You may even spot some of your childhood favorites. Then return to Fremont to the Outpost Grille & Steakhouse for lunch.

In the afternoon, it’s off to the Spring Concert of the Pathfinder Chorus, where you’ll be captivated by a musical performance from VIP seats. But the day doesn’t end there. Once you’ve freshened up, you can make your way to the Fremont Elkhorn Valley Railroad Depot. Browse through the railroad memorabilia until 6:15 when you board the Fremont Dinner Train for a meal you won’t soon forget. On Sunday, enjoy a special brunch at the Wilderness Lodge and then round out the delightful weekend with a little shopping. The historic downtown area is laden with the charm of antique stores and specialty boutiques while the Fremont Mall offers a more urban retail experience.
