Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Interpretive Trail & Visitor Center

100 Valmont Dr, next to Missouri River bridge on NE Hwy 2 - Life-size replica of the keelboat, white pirogue and earth lodge. The focus of this exciting regional Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center will be on the more than 300 discoveries of flora (178 plants), fauna (122 animals) and scientific discoveries made at President Thomas Jefferson's direction on their historic Corps of Discovery journey from 1803 to 1806. Scenic and birding trails. Open May 1-Sep 30, Mon-Sat, 9am-6pm; Sun, 9am-5pm; Oct 1-Apr 30, Mon-Sat, 10am-4pm; Sun, noon-4pm. Closed Mon, Dec-Feb. Admission. 402-874-9900
