Gage County Historical Museum

101 N. 2nd St - Located in the 1906 Burlington Passenger Train Station. The museum offers an insight into the people, genealogy, railroads, industries, medical and agricultural history of Gage County. Learn about the home of Dempster windmills and Beatrice Foods, and actors Robert Taylor and Harold Lloyd. The Elijah Filley Stone Barn is located 2 miles south of Filley at 13282 East Scott Rd. This is Nebraska's largest limestone barn, built in 1874. Museum open year-round, Tue-Fri, 9am-noon & 1-5pm; Sun, 1:30-5pm. Also open Sat, Memorial Day-Labor Day. Closed major holidays. Donation.
