210 16th St, 3 mi. N. of I-80 - Extensive collection depicting Great Plains history with exhibits, murals and mosaics. Agricultural museum features a homestead house, farm scene, barn and blacksmith shop. Home of General Delevan Bates, Civil War veteran, is now on museum grounds. Railroad and Civil War collections. Apr-Oct, Mon-Sat, 9am-5pm; Sun, 1-5pm. Nov-Mar, daily, 1-5pm. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Day. Admission: $6 adults, $2 students, $4 seniors, ages 5 and under free.
