Elkhorn Valley Museum and Research Center

515 Queen City Blvd - This museum showcases Elkhorn Valley history with many displays and photographs. Square-Turn tractor, Dederman cabin, one-room schoolhouse, Children's Discovery Zone, doctor's office and Elkhorn Valley Timeline. Changing and revolving exhibits. Permanent Johnny Carson exhibit that includes Mr. Carson's Emmy Awards, Kennedy Center Honors and a variety of other memorabilia from Mr. Carson's California office. The Willetta Lueschen Bird Library contains more than 1,200 books covering all areas of nature. Open Tue-Sat, 10am-5pm. Tours by appt. Sunday Series held Oct-Apr, 3rd Sun of each month. Admission: $4 adults, $3 seniors and students, $2 children ages 5-12yrs, free to members and children under 5yrs. 402-371-3886
