A beautiful pine-dotted canyon, featuring many waterfalls, is the favorite 'putting-in' spot for canoeists on the river. Refuge open year-round, daylight hours. Visitor center displays information on old frontier fort. Open Memorial Day-Labor Day, Mon-Sat, 8am-4:30pm; Sun, 10am-4:30pm. Rest of the year, Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. Free.
