500 S. 20th St - Since its inception in 1976, Omaha Children's Museum has been a special place where children can challenge themselves, discover how the world works and learn through play. The museum's 35,000 square feet of permanent exhibits include Charlie Campbell Science and Technology Center, Creative Arts Center and Imagination Playground. The museum also offers an array of traveling exhibitions and educational programs. Open Tue-Fri, 10am-4pm; Sat, 9am-5pm; Sun, 1-5pm. Extended summer hours Memorial Day-Labor Day. Admission: $8 ages 2-59, $7 ages 60 & up, under 24 months free. 402-342-6164
