9 mi. N. on NE Hwy 61 - Nebraska's largest reservoir with more than 30,000 acres of water at capacity and 5,500 acres of land including modern and primitive camping, boating and fishing. Hunting in the winter. Campgrounds open year-round. Showers closed in winter. Office hours: Sep-April, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm; Apr-May, daily, 8am-5pm. Memorial Day-Labor Day, Fri-Sat, 8am-8pm; Sun-Thu, 8am-5pm. Park permit required. Wildlife and eagle viewing during winter months.
