900 Overland Trails Rd, 11th & J Sts - Step back onto the Oregon Trail! Learn the story of the pioneers who inhabited and settled the beautiful North Platte River Valley from prehistoric times to the 1930s. Also located on the grounds is a 1889 sod house and 1890 log cabin. The Western History Archive is the repository for the Paul & Helen Henderson Oregon Trail Collection, the most comprehensive collection ever compiled on western America's overland trails. Museum gallery hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm; Sat-Sun, 1-4pm. Closed weekends Labor Day-Memorial Day. Admission: $3 adults, $1 ages 12-6, free ages 6 & under. 308-436-5411
